Shipping

The final shipping charge will be determined once the order is confirmed.

A $20 hold for shipping will be on your initial invoice.  Once the order is confirmed, we will reach out with shipping options and rates.  The $20 will be applied to the final shipping charge.  Insurance is optional and is usually an additional 1%.  You will be given the opportunity to add it to your final charge.

 

LEGAL NOTICE

Title on all wines sold by Scarsdale Wine Merchants passes to the buyer at the time of purchase once it leaves our premises, either by shipping, local delivery, or pick-up. The buyer is solely responsible for the shipment or delivery of wines. 

 

If you require to have your wines shipped, you authorize Scarsdale Wine Merchants to use a third-party shipper to deliver them on your behalf.  Insurance is optional and usually costs and additional 1%, which would insure your package with the third-party shipper.  

 

You must be at least 21 years of age to order or receive wine from Scarsdale Wine Merchants. A signature from an adult that is 21 years or older will be required at the time of delivery.

ADULT SIGNATURE REQUIRED for all shipments.

What is the timing for shipping methods:

Ground: 1 day for NY Metro area, up to 10 days for cross country transit. (residential offers weekend delivery, commercial address Mon – Fri only)

2-day: 2 day air (Mon – Fri delivery)

Express Saver: 3 day air (Mon – Fri delivery)

Standard Overnight: Next day by end of day (Mon – Fri delivery)

Priority Overnight: Next day by noon (Mon – Fri delivery)

Priority Overnight with Saturday Delivery: This is the only option for Overnight shipping Friday for Saturday delivery – residential only.  Please contact us to set this up.

 

Scarsdale Wine Merchants is not responsible for any delays or damage from a third-party shipper.  We highly encourage insuring your shipment.

 

Shipping Cutoffs:

Ground: 2:30pm, Monday – Friday

Express: 11:30am, Monday – Friday

Where do we ship?

Everywhere that it’s legal!  Unfortunately, we cannot ship to PO Boxes.

Shipments to commercial addresses will be delivered Monday – Friday only.
