Kristie Campbell (née Petrullo) leads the team at Scarsdale Wine Merchants. Kristie’s wine career spans over two decades, starting as a harvest intern in 2002 in Sonoma, CA at Copain Wines. After harvest, she took on the Beverage Director role at Market Restaurant in Napa Valley - winning the award for Best New Wine List from Food & Wine Magazine. Kristie moved back to her home town of New York where she held sommelier positions at Eleven Madison Park, Daniel, Craft, and Jean Georges, making history at the latter by becoming the first female chef sommelier at a 3-Michelin starred restaurant in the United States.
Kristie started a consulting company upon her departure from Jean Georges, catering to private and corporate clients, as well as dedicating herself to educating about wine. She has led numerous seminars and tastings around the country, and is often featured in publications for her expertise on wine. She is very excited about starting a tasting program at SWM, where she will offer regular events showcasing new and emerging wine regions as well as some old favorites.
At Scarsdale Wine Merchants, Kristie presents a unique selection of carefully curated wines that focuses on quality at every level. She has created an environment that is welcoming to all lovers of wine, regardless of budget. She wants to share her knowledge and passion for wine with each and every client. Think of her as your go-to Sommelier. In addition to recommendations and pairing advice, Kristie can advise on wine service for events, collecting, gifting, wine travel, etc.
When not at the store, Kristie can be found in the wine cellars of her clients or spending time with her husband and 8 year old son, Adrian.
